# Catalog content starter

Free worksheet from Atumara Group. Review ten simple product listings while keeping source facts and proposed copy side by side. This kit contains one fictional example and ten empty working rows. It does not include completed product research or the full paid catalog review.

## Scope

Use one store, English content and up to ten products with one SKU each. Start with products without selectable variants, bundles or subscriptions, using no more than twenty public or merchant-approved source pages. Avoid regulated products. This is a review worksheet, not an import-ready Shopify CSV. Do not upload it to a store's product importer.

## Use the worksheet

1. Import catalog-content-review.csv as comma-separated UTF-8 text. Import SKU and Unchanged handle as text to preserve leading zeros and exact spelling. The sheet contains no formulas. Keep the fictional example separate or delete it before sharing real work.
2. Fill P01-P10. Preserve each existing SKU and handle exactly. Record the existing title and description before drafting changes. Use product-only information you are authorized to use; no customer or order exports are needed.
3. List public URLs or approved source filenames and section/page references in Source reference. Separate multiple references with semicolons. Record your check date as YYYY-MM-DD. For approved files, use a descriptive filename, not a private computer path or access token.
4. Put only supported facts in Confirmed attributes, including units and which source establishes them. Copy required warnings exactly into Warnings to preserve and retain them in the proposed text. If sources conflict, put the conflict in Open questions and hold that product for clarification.
5. Draft the title and description using those confirmed facts. Explain material changes in Reason for change. Do not invent materials, certifications, environmental benefits, compatibility, performance or guarantees. A product with unresolved information still occupies one review row.
6. Use Review status such as Not started, Source check needed, Hold for clarification or Ready for merchant review. The merchant records Approved, Changes requested or Rejected in Merchant decision, with the actual decision date. A proposed draft is not approved merely because its wording is complete.

## Before copying approved text

- Check every proposed factual claim against its named source.
- Confirm that SKU and handle match the original and that all required warnings remain.
- Resolve material conflicting specifications and missing warnings with the merchant.
- Copy only merchant-approved text through the merchant's normal publishing process.

## Fictional example

F1 is an invented product specification: Cedar desk tray, SKU CEDAR-TRAY-01, handle cedar-desk-tray. Powder-coated steel, moss green, exterior 20 x 10 x 2 cm. Required fictional warning: Keep away from open flames. The invented existing description says Green tray. Fits everything. Nothing in F1 establishes universal fit. All product names and copy in the example are invented. No real product was reviewed or tested.

## Limits and reuse

This kit does not change prices, inventory, variants, barcodes, tax, shipping or store settings. It does not verify certifications, provide images or promise search placement or sales. Keep credentials and private customer data out of the file. CSV preserves text and values, not formatting, approvals or access controls enforced by software.
